Spent three days and two nights in the backpacking through Grayson Highlands and Mount Rogers, Virginia’s tallest peak. Absolutely gorgeous up there as we experienced a variety of weather…Temps ranged from 34 w/ flurries at the base on the first day to -9 w/ 50+ mph winds and snow the 2nd night near the top of mountain… Incredibly proud of the entire group for pushing through physical and mental challenges of winter in the backcountry.
